Group Therapy/Skills Training

BODH-WebComponents-102.png

Group therapy is a wonderful alternative to individual therapy in which you receive support from both an experienced clinician and from peers. Though sharing your struggles with strangers may seem intimidating at first, most people report that the group becomes a valuable support network and sounding board. Group therapy provides the opportunity to feel less isolated as we realize that we are not alone in our struggles, and also provides the opportunity to learn from multiple perspectives and personalities. Sometimes people find it beneficial to participate in both individual and group therapy simultaneously, where group becomes an opportunity for interpersonal growth while individual therapy becomes an opportunity to focus on intrapersonal growth.
