1

Prolonged delays in achieving developmental milestones or in making academic progress;

3

Difficulty accessing rehabilitative services or appropriate accommodations; and/or

2

Missed opportunities to treat reversible etiology or to delay disease progression;

4

Development of overwhelming levels of emotional distress for those experiencing cognitive difficulties, as well as their family systems.

Neuropsychological testing can detect even mild levels of cognitive dysfunction, eliminating diagnostic guesswork, particularly when symptoms are subtle, ill-defined, vague, or inconsistent. Armed with information about a patient’s neurocognitive abilities, you may be able to improve patient/family compliance with recommended and prescribed medical treatments.

We can help you

1

Identify etiology and likely prognosis for cognitive concerns to help guide treatment;

2

Deliver difficult or confusing news to patients about their cognition; and/or

3

Treat psychological or emotional barriers that may be hindering treatment progress.
